Same with FF12.looks like an xbox360 game imho. I haven't been using these for very long but if anybody has any questions feel free to ask.īeen playing with FFX for a few days since I shelved it years ago (broke PS2 lens). The key advantage is that by using emulation the 3D models are actually rendered at higher resolution and aren't simply upscaled like a TV (or the PS3) does.Īnyways, here are the two emulators I'm talking about: For example, you can change the internal resolution of the PS2 emulator to 2048x2048 (or higher) with texture filtering and it looks AMAZING and nothing like the original game. use the PC mouse as a Wiimote, or a PC X-Box 360 controller to play PS2 games) However, I was a little suprised to see that Gamecube and Wii emulation is pretty damn awesome as well.
I knew that PS2 emulation was being worked for quite a while but just recently I'd classify it as 'near perfect'. I've always been a huge fan of emulation and I've recently discovered that PS2, Gamecube, and Wii emulation is pretty damn good.
